대학에 입학을 하고 싶은데 영어성적이 낮거나 하여 바로 해당 대학에 입학을 못하는 유학생들을 위해서 일정한 코스를 (잘) 마치면 영어성적이 낮거나 면제를 통해서 대학 (학사) 코스를 다닐 수 있도록 각대학에서 만든 일종의 foundation 코스 같은 것을 2024년 4월 20일 부터 적용한다고 합니다. 유학을 하시는 분들 중에 언어 능력이 다소 준비가 안된 분들은 참고하세요.

Migration (English Language Tests and Evidence Exemptions for Subclass 500 (Student) Visa) Amendment (Pathway Programs) Specification 2024 amends Migration (English Language Tests and Evidence Exemptions for Subclass 500 (Student) Visa) Instrument (LIN 24/022) 2024 to specify the definition of eligible pathway program and to specify the list of registered courses that are an eligible pathway program for the purposes of LIN 24/022.

Only pathway programs specified in this amendment instrument will meet the definition of an eligible pathway program for the purposes of LIN 24/022. Applicants enrolled in an eligible pathway program which is acceptable under the instrument will be able to meet the lower English language test score

Members should refer to the instrument for the list of registered courses that can be used under the eligible pathway program as per LIN 24/022.

This instrument commenced on 20 April 2024. The instrument shows as no longer in force as it is an amendment instrument which has served its purpose by making changes to LIN 24/022. The changes made by this instrument will be compiled into LIN 24/022 and be available on the Federal Register of Legislation in due course.
