PMSOL 이라는 것은 Priority Migration Skills Occupation List의 약자로서 호주연방정부에서 COVID-19으로 인해 국경이 닫히고 국내에서는 각주별로 봉쇄(lock down)을 수개월씩 내지는 몇주씩 그리고 지금도 하고 있는 상황에서 국내의 경제회복에 도움을 주고자 2020년 9월 처음에 17개에서 현재 이글을 쓰고 있는 시점에서 44개의 직업군으로 확장해 놓은 상태입니다.
FAQ1) PMSOL 직업군에 내 직업군이 포함되어 있다면 이것이 영주권을 받는데 어떤 유리한 점이 있는가? A) 비자신청자격조건은 반드시 만족해야 하며 이런 점과 관련하여 문의하셨다면 특별히 없다가 정답입니다. 다만 482 / 494 / 186 / 187 비자를 처리할 때 우선순위가 주어집니다. 44개의 직업군 에 속하면 다른 직업군에 비해서 처리되는 시간이 짧아 지지만 신청하는 비자의 비자법은 모두 만족해야 합니다.

The Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL) identifies 44 occupations which fill critical skills needs to support Australia’s economic recovery from COVID-19. The list is based on expert advice from the National Skills Commission and consultation with Commonwealth departments. Employer sponsored nomination and visa applications with an occupation on the PMSOL will be given priority processing. All other skilled occupation lists will remain active, but the PMSOL occupations will take priority. The list is temporary and priority occupations may change as Australia recovers from the pandemic. The Government and the National Skills Commission will continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on the Australian labour market and assess Australia’s skills needs as they evolve and new sources of data emerge.
