2020-21 Financial Year Update

Regional Development Australia (RDA) offices will begin assisting NSW Treasury manage the subclass 491 visa in early February 2021.

Each RDA office will accept and assess applications, and determine eligible occupations for their respective regions; however, nomination criteria is consistent across all regions. These criteria are outlined below. (각 지방정부 마다 직업군이 결정되고 신청서 가부가 결정될 것임. 대신 모든 신청 자격은 지방정부와 무관하게 동일함)

Information about how to apply will be made available on RDA websites as soon as possible. Links to participating region websites can be found below. (신청 방법은 따로 발표가 될 것임; 각각의 지방 마다 다르게 됨)

RDA offices will focus on nominating applicants who are undertaking skilled work in critical sectors. These applicants are a priority for Government in supporting economic recovery following the impacts of COVID-19. (크리티칼 섹터에 있는 직업군의 종사자들이 유리할 전망)

위에 보시는 것처럼 2020-2021년도 임시로 할당된 491 비자용 쿼타는 모두 소진된 상태로 연방정부로 부터 추가적으로 더 할당될 것을 기다리는 중이라고 합니다.

그럼에도 불구하고 NSW 주 491 비자를 위한 노미네이션 기준은 모든 지역에 걸쳐 일정한 기준을 유지할 것이며 아래와 같을 것입니다.

COVID-19으로 인해서 할당되는 쿼타는 생각보다 적을 수 있습니다.

Nomination criteria (기준)

You must meet the all criteria in one of the following three streams to be eligible for NSW nomination:  (491 비자를 위해서 아래 3가지 중에서 하나를 만족해야 함)

1. Living and working in regional NSW; (NSW 지방에서 살고 일하는 경우)
2. recently completed study in regional NSW; or (NSW 지방에서 공부를 최근에 마친 경우) 또는
3. living and working outside of regional NSW. (NSW 지방 밖에서 거주하고 일하는 경우)

Applicants who do not meet the criteria in one of these three streams may be refused unless otherwise agreed with NSW Treasury. (3가지 중에 하나의 조건에 만족하지 않는 신청인은 거절될 것임)

‘Closely related occupations’ are defined as those having the same ANZSCO unit group, i.e. sharing the same first four digits. (직업군이 동일 또는 최소한 4자리가 유사해야 함)

‘Designated regional areas’ are determined by Home Affairs. Please see their website for a list of regional NSW postcodes.

아래 처럼 1,2,3의 조건중에 하나를 만족해야 함

1. Living and working in regional NSW (1번에 해당할 경우)

To be eligible for NSW nomination under this stream you must:

• hold a valid skills assessment for an occupation that appears on your nominated region’s occupation list; (기술심사 통과 결과)
• have been living in a designated regional area of NSW for at least the previous 12 months; and (12개월 이상 NSW 주 지방에 거주) 그리고
• have been working in your nominated occupation, or a closely related occupation, in a designated regional area of NSW, for at least the previous 12 months. (최소 지난 12개월 동안 자신의 지명한 직업군 또는 유사직업군으로 일한 경우)

2. Recently completed study in regional NSW (2번에 해당할 경우)

To be eligible for NSW nomination under this stream you must:

• hold a valid skills assessment for an occupation that appears on your nominated region’s occupation list; (기술심사 통과)
• have completed study or education with an education provider, where:
  • the study was completed within the previous 24 months; (지난 24개월 안에 코스 완료)
  • the education provider is located in a designated regional area in NSW; (학교도 NSW 지방에 위치)
  • the study meets the Australian study requirement (as determined by Home Affairs from time to time); and (2년 유학 조건을 만족) 그리고
  • the qualification obtained from this study has been assessed as closely related to your nominated occupation by the relevant assessing authority; and (학업을 얻은 학위가 지명한 직업군으로 기술심사기관에 의해 평가한 직업군과 같거나 또는 유사해야 함)
• have lived in a designated regional area of NSW while completing your study. (코스 마치는 기간동안 NSW 지방에 거주)

3. Living and working outside of regional NSW (3번에 해당이 되는 경우)

To be eligible for NSW nomination under this stream you must meet all the criteria for at least one of the following categories: (아래 3가지 a, b  또는 c중에 최소 한가지 만족해야 함)

a. Job offer in regional NSW (NSW 지방에서 job offer 소지한 경우)

To be eligible for NSW nomination under this category you must:

• hold a valid skills assessment for an occupation that appears on your nominated region’s occupation list; (기술심사 통과)
• have an offer for ongoing employment that is: (job offer 받음)
  • in your nominated occupation, or a closely related occupation; and (지명한 직업군으로)
  • for a minimum term of 12 months and 35 hours of work per week; (최소 12개월&주당 35시간 근무)
• have an offer for ongoing employment from an employer that is: (고용주로 부터 job offer를 받음)
  • located in a designated regional area in NSW; and (NSW 주 지방에 위치하고)
  • registered in Australia. (호주에 등록된 회사일 것)

b. At least five years skilled employment experience (offshore Applicants) (해외 신청자) (최소 5년 경력소유자)

If you reside outside of Australia, you must:(해외에 거주하는 자의 경우)

• hold a valid skills assessment for an occupation that appears on your nominated region’s occupation list; and (기술심사 통과)
• have at least five years of skilled employment in such nominated occupation, or a closely related occupation. (지명한 직업군 / 유사직업군으로 5년 경력)

c. Family ties in regional NSW (NSW주 지방에 친인척 거주)

To be eligible for NSW nomination under this category you must:

• hold a valid skills assessment for an occupation that appears on your nominated region’s occupation list; and (기술심사 통과)
• have an immediate family member in a designated regional area in NSW who satisfies all of the criteria below: (지방에 친인척 거주)
  • is either your grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, brother or sister (including by virtue of a step or adoptive relationship);
  • at least 18 years of age; 18세 이상
  • either an Australian Permanent Resident, an Australian Citizen or a NSW nominated provisional visa holder (489); (호주 영주권자, 시민권자 또는 NSW가 지명한 489 비자 소유자)
  • currently residing in a designated regional area in NSW; and (NSW 지방에 현재 거주)
  • has been residing in a designated regional area in NSW for at least the previous 24 months, (최소 지난 24개월동안 NSW 지방에 거주)
  • and you must ensure that your family member has completed a statutory declaration to confirm that they satisfy each of the above chain migration requirements. (SD 제출)

아직 NSW 주정부 491 비자를 위한 Nomination 발표가 되지 않았지만 이 내용에 근거하여 자신의 조건을 미리 만족해 두는 것이 차후에 발표나면 준비된 경우 발 빠르게 대처가능하지 않을까 사료됩니다.
