2020-2021 회계년도에 189 비자용 EOI 가 500 건 발행되었습니다. (2020년 7월 14일) COVID-19 이 아직도 존재하는데도 불구하고 좋은 소식이 아닐 수 없다고 예상합니다. 그리고 189 비자의 cut-off 가 90점이었습니다. 65점의 통과 점수에 비하면 25점이나 더 높아야 189 비자를 고려할 수 있다는 점에서 아직도 이 점수를 얻지 못하는 분들에게는 많이 높아 보입니다. 그래도 95점 보다는 낮으니 90점을 얻는 분들은 희망이 있어 보입니다. Invitation process and cut offsThe highest ranked clients by points score are invited to apply for the relevant visa. For clients who have equal points scores, the time at which they reached their points score for that subclass (referred to as the date of effect) determines their order of invitation. Expressions of Interest with earlier dates of effect are invited before later dates.
Point scores and the dates of effect cut off for the pro rata occupations in the 14 July 2020 invitation round.Due to high levels of demand, and in keeping with previous program years, the below occupation groups will be subject to pro rata arrangements to ensure availability of invitations across the program year. SkillSelect first allocates available places to Skilled – Independent visas (subclass 189), and thereafter the remaining to Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) – Family Sponsored . If all places are taken up by subclass 189 visas then there will be no invitations issued for subclass 491 visas in these occupations.

참고로 2020년 6월 달 189 vs 491 (가족 스폰서쉽 stream)의 점수는 아래와 같이 낮았습니다. 새회계년도가 되면서 5점이 올라간 것이 되는 것이지요. 8월 달이 궁금해 집니다.
