빅토리아주에서도 일부 한정된 직업군 (경제 회복 및 공공의료 분야)을 위해 노미네이션을 줄 것으로 암시하고 있습니다. 빅토리아주에 거주하면서 해당하는 직업군들은 밑에 글처럼 미리 준비를 하면 좋을 듯 합니다. 신청할 수 있을 때 즉시 신청해야 할 테니까요

The Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs has provided a limited number of visa nomination places to the Victorian Government up until the Federal Budget is delivered on 6 October 2020.

We are preparing to re-open with new policies and nomination criteria to support Victoria’s economic recovery and the public health response.

You may wish to prepare your Expression of Interest (EOI) so that you’re ready once more information becomes available. EOIs are lodged through the Department of Home Affairs SkillSelect system (그 무엇이 되었든 EOI는 제일 먼저 신청이 되어야 있어야 하며 가장 최신의 자료로 변경되어 있어야 함. 예를들어, 영어성적, 경력 또는 학력 등)

2020년 8월 중순 현재

여느때 같으면 주마다 주정부에 맞는 직업군들과 조건을 발표하면서 신청인을 받는다고 공지를 하고 신청인을 받지만 작금의 코로나바이러스로 인하여 그런 발표는 10월 초나 되어야 나올 것같은 분위기 속에서 몇일전 그럼에도 불구하고 일부 중요한(?) 분야에 해당하는 직업군들의 경우 주정부 스폰서쉽을 줄 것 같다는 소식을 받았습니다.

오늘 아침 SA 주정부에서 아래와 같은 내용을 알려 왔습니다.

The Government of South Australia has been advised of a limited number of interim allocation places for the State’s General Skilled and Business Migration Program for 2020/21, which will be prioritised to support South Australia’s economic and public health recovery.  (말 그대로 아직 프로그램 발표는 나지 않았지만 남호주 경제 및 공중위생회복을 지원을 위해 임시적으로 한정된 숫자만큼 미리 스폰서쉽을 내줄 것 같습니다. 사견(私見): 코비드바이러스가 생각보다 오래 가는 것으로 인해 자구책(自救策)을 마련한 듯)

The full nomination allocations for 2020/21 will be determined later in the year as part of the 2020/21 Budget process. (금년 프로그램은 2020/2021년 회계년도 예산처리의 일부로서 금년 늦게 결정될 것임을 언급하고 있음에 유의(留意))

Given the limited number of available nominations, South Australia’s program requirements and application processes for the General Skilled and Business Programs are currently being finalised, with a view to applications being open in late August 2020. (자격조건 및 신청서처리가 2020년 8월 말경에 발표될 듯하며 한정된 노미네이션이 유효함)

Based on direction from the Department of Home Affairs, applications will be prioritised according to: (그렇다고 해서 주정부 마음대로 할 수 없고 연방정부의 지시에 따라  아래와 같은 조건에 해당하는 신청서에 대해 노미네이션이 주어질 듯)

1. High quality applications within the Business Innovation and Investment Program, with those who have already lodged an ‘Intention to Apply’ given priority consideration. (비지니스 혁신 및 투자프로그램에서 높은 수준의 신청서)
2. Applicants critical to supporting South Australia’s response to the COVID19 pandemic, including individuals providing critical or specialist medical services, critical skills required to maintain the supply of essential goods and services; or delivering services in sectors critical to Australia’s economic recovery.( 팬데믹 관련 남호주를 지원할 수 있는 중요한 신청인, 예를들어, 의료서비스종사자, 필수품 및 서비스공급을 유지하는데 필요한 기술소지자 또는 호주경제회복에 중요한 분야에 서비스를 제공하는 분야)
3. Early consideration to onshore applicants that satisfy the above criteria. (위의 조건을 만족하는 호주내 거주하는 신청인; onshore application)

사견(私見): 개인적으로 몇일전 주 (state or territory)와 무관하게 이런 내용이 될 것이라는 내용을 이민법무사협회로 부터 메일을 받았습니다. 내용인즉 다른 주에서도 critical sector에서 일하는 분들에게 예정된 10월 초 예산발표 전에 nomination을 줄 수 있음을 시사 (示唆) 하는 내용이었습니다. 그럼으로 주에 관계 없이 crtical sector에 근무를 하고 있다면 미리 미리 준비를 해 두는 지혜를 발휘 (發揮) 해 두시면 유비무환 (有備無患, Be prepared in advance and there is no worry)이 될 것입니다.
