네 말씀해 주신 상황에서는 (원하지 않는 답변알 수 있겠지만 ) step-children으로 해당이 됩니다.
아래 step-child의 정의중에 (a) 에 해당이 되기 때문입니다.
(비록 현 부부 사이에 태어난 아이가 아니더라도 또 질문자가 비록 어머니가 친부랑 이혼을 했지만 어머니의 자식인 것처럼) 현 계부의 자녀들은 현 계부의 자녀이기 때문입니다.
step-child in relation to a parent, means:
(a) a person who is not the child of the parent but who is the child of the parent's current spouse or de facto partner; or
(b) a person who is not the child of the parent but:
(i) who is the child of the parent's former spouse or former de facto partner; and
(ii) who has not turned 18; and
(iii) in relation to whom the parent has:
(A) a parenting order in force under the Family Law Act 1975 under which the parent is the person with whom a child is to live, or who is to be responsible for the child's long-term or day-to-day care, welfare and development; or
(B) guardianship or custody, whether jointly or otherwise, under a Commonwealth, State or Territory law or a law in force in a foreign country.
만약 가정입니다만 어머니가 현 계부랑 이혼을 하시고 혼자 사시거나 또는 새로운 계부와 결혼 / 사실혼이 될 때 그 계부는 자녀가 없을 경우
현 계부는 former partner (전파트너)가 됨에 따라 이런 경우는 비록 former parnter의 자녀이긴 하나 성인이 되었다고 하니 이런 경우는 해당이 안되는 것입니다.
(처음 질문에서 물었던 것에 해당이 되는 것이지요.)
