820 & 801 비자를 신청함으로서 Medicare card 신청할 자격을 갖게 됩니다.
If you’ve applied for permanent residency (820 & 801 비자를 동시에 신청하기 때문에)
You can enrol in Medicare if you live in Australia and have applied for either:
a permanent residency visa, except for a parent visa (여기에 해당함)
a permanent protection visa.
You must also be any of the following:
on a visa allowing you to work
able to prove your parent, spouse or child is an Australian citizen
able to prove your parent, spouse or child is a permanent resident
able to prove your parent, spouse or child is a New Zealand citizen living in Australia.
This includes if you’ve applied for a combined spouse visa 309/100 or 820/801. (명시된 것처럼 파트너 비자 신청하면 메디케어 카드 신청 자격 해당이 됨)
You can enrol in Medicare from either:
the date you applied for permanent residency
the date you arrived here to live if you applied outside Australia.
메디케어 카드를 언제부터 받을 수 있을까?
820 & 801 비자를 신청한 날부터
그리고 필요한 문서는 아래 내용을 참고.
Documents you need to enrol if you’ve applied for permanent residency
You need to provide documents that prove your identity and residency.
You can enrol in Medicare if you’ve applied for either:
a permanent residency visa
a permanent protection visa.
You’ll need to give us all of these documents:
a current passport or Immicard (여권)
a valid visa (현재 유효한 비자)
proof from the Department of Home Affairs that you’ve applied for permanent residency. (비자 신청한 증거)
We need these for each person you want to enrol. (위의 3가지면 충분)
Documents must be original or certified copies.
If your visa doesn’t let you work in Australia, you’ll have to provide extra documents. You need to prove you have a parent, spouse or child who’s any of the following: (만약 일할 수 없는 비자 BVE인 경우 아래 조건을 만족하면 또한 메디케어 카드 신청 가능함)
an Australian citizen
a permanent resident of Australia
a New Zealand citizen who lives in Australia.
You can do this by giving us any of these documents:
birth certificate
marriage certificate
joint bank, gas, water or electricity account statement
proof you own a home together.
You’ll need to complete a Medicare enrolment form and submit it with your documents at a service centre.
