안녕하세요.
지난 2002년 부터 비자 상담 및 대행을 했지만
Civil Engineering Draftperson 으로 공부를 하려는 분들은 처음 접합니다.
일단 2년 코스로서 ASR을 만족하며 졸업을 할 경우
485 비자라고 하여 1.5년 짜리 임시 graduate visa를 받게 됩니다.
일단 학위수준 (level of qualification) & 전공분야 (relevant major)라고 하면
485 비자를 위한 기술심사는 통과 합니다.
이때 경력은 필요치 않게 됩니다.
그리고 학교 코스를 마치고 나서
비자 485 비자 신청 전후로 반드시 1년 relevant work experience 쌓아야 합니다.
이부분에서 경력을 쌓지 못하면 기술심사 통과 자체가 불가능합니다.
기술심사를 통과를 해야 그다음
491 비자를 신청을 하든
494 비자를 신청을 하든
능력이 되어 190 비자를 신청을 하든
길이 열립니다.

Civil Engineering Draftsperson (ANZSCO Code 312211)
This occupation requires a qualification assessed as comparable to the education level of an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Diploma or higher and in a field highly relevant to the nominated occupation.
In addition to the above, it is essential for applicants to meet the following employment criteria:
at least one year of post-qualification employment at an appropriate skill level,
undertaken in the last five years,
working 20 hours or more per week, and
highly relevant to the nominated occupation.
If the qualification is not in a highly relevant field, then the applicant must have:
two years of post-qualification employment experience at an appropriate skill level,
undertaken in the last five years,
working 20 hours or more per week, and
highly relevant to the nominated occupation.
This is reduced to one year if there is an additional qualification at least at AQF Certificate IV level in a highly relevant field.
If employment has occurred before completion of qualification, then three years of highly relevant employment experience are required in addition to at least one year of highly relevant employment at an appropriate skill level in the last five years.
Please note in order to achieve a successful Skills Assessment Outcome, a positive assessment for both qualifications and employment is required.

이것은 이론적으로만 가능성이 있는 것이 아닙니다.
실제 가능성이 있는 길은 맞습니다.
다만 영어로 공부를 해야 합니다.
영어로 취업을 위해서 job search 해야 합니다.
영어로 업무를 소화해 내야 합니다.
업무를 듣고 이해하고 표현할 줄 알아야 합니다.
잘못하면 인터뷰 기회도 못 갖게 됩니다.
잘못하면 다니다 짤립니다.
그러니 가장 중요한 것은 무엇이 될까요?
1. 학비
2. 학업 능력
3. 언어 능력 및 대화 능력 (communication skills)
4. 그리고 job 입니다.
1,2,3 은 본인의 능력입니다.
그리고 4번이 문제인데
너무 시골은 이 직업군으로 취업하는데 어려움이 있을 수 있습니다.
아무리 시골이라도 Cook / Chef는 필요합니다.
동네 아무리 시골이라고 해도 그러합니다.
그러나 Civil Engineering draftperson은 그렇지 않습니다.
대신 cook /chef 보다는 공부하는 학생이 적을 것입니다.
이런 점을 감안하세요.
죽어도 난 요리 못한다?!
그러면 못하는 것이지요.
그런데 정말 Civil Engineering Draftperson vs Cook / Chef 밖에 없을까요?
수백개의 직업군 중에? ^.^
잘 생각해 보세요. 적성에 맞는 직업군인지에 대해서...
