Canberra에 거주했었거나 또는 공부를 했었거나 하는 분들 중에  ACT를 떠나 있고 국경이 막혀서 입국을 하지 못하지만 현재 또는 차후에 Canberra Matrix를 통해 주정부스폰서쉽 (190 / 491 비자)를 신청하고자 하는 분들은 agent들에게 보내진 아래 내용을 참고하세요.

매우 중요한 부분: Canberra에서 제공하는 COVID-19 concession 의 혜택을 받기 위해서는 반드시 2022년 3월 1일 전까지 호주 Canberra에 입국을 해야 한다는 사실입니다.

Greetings from Canberra .

We have just updated the COVID – 19  concession policy for Canberra residents impacted by the closure of the Australian border at https://www.act.gov.au/migration/skilled-migrants/covid-19-impact-on-act-nomination

If your clients were unable to travel to Australia due to the closure of the Australian border from 1 February 2020, they may still claim Canberra Matrix points from that date if they meet the following criteria:

ACT residence:

• You may claim Matrix points for the entire period you were overseas if you were residing in Canberra before your departure; or
• You may claim Matrix points from the date you commenced online study at an ACT tertiary institution.

ACT Study

• You may claim Matrix points for the period you studied online at an ACT tertiary institution.

You must return to live in Canberra by 1 March 2022. You must still meet the minimum ACT employment eligibility criteria before you can submit the Matrix.

If you are invited to apply for ACT 491 / 190 nomination, a request for a COVID-19 concession must be in writing, attached to the application and evidenced by the following documents:

• an International Movement Record (IMR)
• evidence that you were residing in Canberra before your departure (if applicable)
• confirmation from the ACT tertiary institution that your studies commenced and / or continued online while you were overseas (if applicable).
